New York City Mayor Michael R.Bloomberg Wants To Ban Sugared Drinks in city restaurants, stadiums , arenas and movie theaters.The proposal is one of several anti-obesity initiatives undertaken by the administration. But for Stefan Friedman , spokesman for the New York City Beverage Association : “The city is not going to address the obesity issue by attacking soda , because soda is not driving the obesity rates…the overall American diet is.” Join the conversation !
